Endel Tulving is a world renowned experimental psychologist and cognitive neuroscientist whose  theories have provided the foundation for much of human memory research.   


*Born in Estonia in 1927;

*Emigrated to Canada via a "Displaced Persons" ( i.e. refugee) camp in Germany; 

*Educated at University of Toronto and Harvard University;
